The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager is a hands-on role leading all FP&A functions including but not limited to: financial planning and budgeting processes, analyzing financial statements, generating operating reports and presentations, developing financial models, preparing projections, and performing industry and customer research and analysis as may be required by Questco senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
Specific Job Expectations Include:
- Use analysis to influence and drive action within finance, leadership and our business partners by using fact-based, holistic and forward-looking perspectives to identify current trends and emerging issues and assist in the implementation of strategies developed in response to those trends.
- Provide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to senior management
- Produce recurring interim and ad hoc reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting.
- Isolate key drivers, quantify impacts, and forecast implications to the business, recognizing how different data points fit together.
- Understand how to access and apply available data relevant to business issues to provide insightful, actional analysis, complimented using AI and bots for repetitive manual tasks.
- Understand the financial drivers of business results and use large datasets to investigate and answer business performance questions.
- Build compelling storyline for financial updates to collaborate with functional leaders across the organization.
- Spearhead the annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Develop sophisticated financial models that help with decision-making.
- Responsible for statistical reports as required by management, annual goal tracking, etc.
- Assist M&A activities including but not limited to: analysis, due diligence, quality of earnings, and data room maintenance.
- Assist in preparation for and presentation to the Board of Directors, including monthly financial results calls and quarterly BOD meetings.
- Complete with excellence all other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, MIS, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics or related field.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, investment banking, or other related fields, with a progressive career.
- PEO or other B2B, recurring revenue, multi-service, sales/cost of sales/gross profit, multi-jurisdictional, data intense, complicated (non-standard) industry is required.
Required Skills:
- Experience with FP&A applications, multiple data sources and integrations with Sage Intacct (or comparable).
- Experience with integrated board deck presentation creation.
- Excellent working knowledge of Excel, MS Power Platform (or comparable), and sensitivity analysis, scenario planning, unit economics and financial modeling.
- Experience leading budgeting, forecasting (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement), internal, external financial, operational reporting and adjusted EBITDA, for a mid-size, growing, private equity owned company.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills complimented with the use of AI and bots for repetitive manual tasks.
- Attention to accuracy, detail, and data quality control.
- Inquisitive nature with demonstrated success in creating analytics in response to specific strategic growth needs and a self-motivated high achiever.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality with the ability to handle sensitive material concerning the organization and its clients.
Physical Requirements, Language Skills:
- Must be able to work flexible schedules when needed to support business needs.
- Frequent viewing of computer terminal with wrist/finger movement to operate a computer keyboard and mouse.
- Requires sitting or standing for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25lbs. periodically.
- Bend, reach, pull, stoop, and push are all elements of physical activity for this position
- Fluency in English – speak, read, and write.
