HR Coordinator

Job Responsibilities

The Human Resource Coordinator will provide a crucial role in supporting the Client Service human resources department. They handle various administrative tasks, assisting with maintaining systems and documents used by the team and clients.

 

Specific Job Expectations Include

·       Partner with HR Representative and client, as needed, to create and maintain compliant Employee Handbooks using the HR Handbook Builder tool with SOP of handbook workflows.

·       Work with Onboarding Team to ensure clients employee handbook are properly formatted and ready to upload to the employee portal in required timeframe – as well as providing test of handbooks in onboarding as needed.

·       Consult with teams to ensure continued smooth and timely processing of all tasks, cases and projects.

·       Maintain the Handbook Builder tool with client data, ensuring HR is notified of updates to the handbook as needed and assist in preparing communication to client regarding updated handbook data

·       Update Directors on important changes to handbook workflow and policies as needed.

·       Work with HR team to provide state-level compliance reviews when client’s hire in new states.

·       Be familiar with PTO system setup for establishment of PTO policies

·       Work with HR Team to provide clients with initial FLSA review.  Consult with HR team on any FLSA review items that require customer contact and confirmation

·       Assist with ad-hoc HR projects as needed

·       Supporting the HR Representatives with additional tasks as needed.

·       Keep applicable Questco systems updated and accurate at all times, including CRM and training systems

·       Complete with excellence all other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

·       2 years’ experience in Customer service / Client facing preferred

·       2 years' experience in HR related role preferred

·       PEO experience preferred

 

Required Skills

·       Proficient with MS Office, Word & Excel

·       Strong interpersonal communication skills, ability to handle sensitive client situations gracefully

·       Professional verbal and written communication skills

·       Must be able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality with the ability to handle sensitive material concerning the organization and its clients

              

Physical Requirements, Language Skills:

·       Frequent viewing of computer terminal with wrist/finger movement to operate a computer keyboard and mouse

·       Requires sitting or standing for long periods of time

·       Must be able to lift and carry up to 25lbs. periodically

·       Bend, reach, pull, stoop, and push are all elements of physical activity for this position

·       Fluency in English – speak, read and write


Pay range: $20 - $24 per hour commensurate with skills and experience
