We are looking for a Senior Automation Developer to help design and build the next generation of automation and AI-driven workflows across our internal systems and client-facing platforms. This role is ideal for a senior-level engineer who enjoys building real-world automation, shaping technical direction, and seeing their work drive measurable operational impact.

What You Will Do

You will play a key role in transforming how work gets done at Questco by building scalable automation solutions that reduce manual effort and improve accuracy across the organization. In this role, you will:

  • Design and develop intelligent automation solutions using modern object-oriented programming languages
  • Build and enhance proprietary applications and services that support Questco’s internal operations and client offerings
  • Develop AI-driven agents and workflows using Model Context Protocol (MCP) and agent frameworks
  • Create automation using Microsoft Power Platform and other low-code/no-code platforms
  • Integrate automation with enterprise systems through REST and SOAP APIs
  • Partner with business and technology teams to identify high-impact automation opportunities
  • Translate business needs into technical designs and production-ready solutions
  • Build reusable components and automation frameworks to support long-term scalability
  • Ensure reliability through testing, monitoring, and continuous optimization of automations
  • Mentor and support other developers while contributing to technical standards and best practices

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who combines strong software engineering fundamentals with a passion for automation and emerging AI technologies. The ideal candidate will bring:

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience (Python, C#, Java, or similar)
  • 3+ years of experience building automation or process automation solutions
  • Experience with automation platforms such as Power Automate, UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, ServiceNow, Make, or Zapier
  • Experience working with AI agents or agentic frameworks
  • Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and AI integration patterns
  • Experience building and integrating APIs (REST, SOAP, JSON)
  • Experience working in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to design solutions for complex workflows
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical partners
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers or contributing to technical leadership

Pay Range: $80,000 - $95,000.

This range represents the anticipated minimum and maximum base + bonus potential for this position. The final compensation for this position will be set based on the applicant’s qualifications (education, training and experience related to this role) and may fall outside the range shown depending on the circumstances.
